  • You ever realize Sonic the Hedgehog is probably the deadliest weapon in gaming history?

    From the BBC...

NZ man 'used hedgehog as weapon'

A man in New Zealand has been charged with using a hedgehog as a weapon, the New Zealand Herald has reported.

Police said William Singalargh, 27, had hurled the hedgehog about 5m (16ft) at a 15-year-old boy.

"It hit the victim in the leg, causing a large, red welt and several puncture marks," said Senior Sgt Bruce Jenkins, in the North Island town of Whakatane.

It was unclear whether the hedgehog was still alive when it was thrown, though it was dead when collected as evidence.

The police spokesman said the suspect was arrested "for assault with a weapon, namely the hedgehog."

Mr Singalargh is due to appear in court on 17 April. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison.

  • I was at the clipper game last night...oh i mean warrior game, and it was good to see the fans represent.  Especially the group of people with the Felt Baron Davis beards that this group had on.  At first I was like why are they wearing masks....then i realized that they were GS fans!!

Of course the Warriors were winners and I hear Baron Davis and possibly Stephen Jackson (but that was unconfirmed) wound up in Hollywood after the game for Snoop Dog's album release party.  The other person that was at that party was Rob Dyrdek from Rob & Big...damn it I wanted to meet him.

  • Dude....

So i been meaning to write about this for some time but just havent had time....

Basically the premise of this blog is to answer the question...whats the etiquette for a hair stylist?  Not sure what i'm talking about?  then come down memory lane with me...

A couple weeks back, I was due for a hair cut.  I haven't really found a place down here, so I stopped by the local Supercuts.  Now I'm not expecting the best haircut, or even great service, afterall I'm in the wallmart of hair cutting.  I figure how hard is fade with a 1 and take a little off the top to understand?

Now I've had hair stylists sit me down in front of the mirror, and they will walk around me to cut where they need to cut.  Others have stood still and spin me around in the chair so they dont have to walk around me which isn't that bad, its like a roller coaster ride. Surprisingly maybe 10% of my haircuts have been conducted in this fashion, which I would assume is not regulatory procedure for a hair stylist.

Now this particular trip was on a Saturday afternoon.  I check in like any other appointment have a seat and wait for my name to be called.  Once they call me up, I sit down and tell the stylist how I'd like my haircut.  she's like cool.  Needless to say, she was the type to spin the customer around while she stood there.  So i sit there, and she starts spinning me around to get to different parts of my head.  But this time, I feel strange.  At first I dont really know why.  I just get this queezy feeling.  I can't quite describe the feeling but it was like the walls of the Supercuts were caving in on me.  I was getting clostrophobic (sp?).  And THEN I realized why...this lady, who was on the heavier side.  Who am i kidding, she was a big lady.  She was spinning me with her belly!!!!!!!!  she used her stomach as a 5th appendage to spin me around in the chair.  Now I could tell she was a pro at this because she would spin and then stop the chair with her belly too.  it was like the engine and the break!!  OMG...i felt like i had to get the hell out of there so as soon as shes done, im like thanks...and walk the hell away...now I dont think i want to go back for I am scared!!
